Contact Shalley and Murray
We are easy to reach by the following methods:
Call our main office telephone number any time.
Please try texting us for what often is the quickest way to get a response directly from one of the partners in the firm. When our lawyers are in Court (where they naturally spend a great deal of time during most days) answering cell phones or even listening to voicemails is often impossible. On the other hand, they are frequently able to view and even respond to text messages while waiting in Court for cases to be called into the record. Therefore, texting is a great way to communicate directly with a lawyer right away rather than leaving a message with a secretary or leaving a voice mail message.
Please remember that although communications with a lawyer might generally be considered protected by attorney client privilege, texting ought not be considered a secure means to convey sensitive information. Texting should really be limited to reaching out and making first contact with a lawyer to arrange for a more secure communication. For example, texting your name and that you would like to discuss a DAT matter is probably more than sufficient to get the ball rolling.

email@example.com (Don Murray)
While perhaps a little less immediate, email also provides potentially the quickest way to reach out to one of the lawyers. Emails can often be read and responded to from Court where cell phones are always on silent and it is impossible to listen to voicemails.
Please remember that although communications with a lawyer might generally be considered protected by attorney client privilege, emailing ought not be considered as necessarily a secure means to convey sensitive information. Initially at least, emails should really be limited to reaching out and making first contact with a lawyer to arrange for a more secure communication. For example, emailing your name and that you would like to discuss a DAT matter is probably more than sufficient to get the ball rolling.
firstname.lastname@example.org (through ProtonMail.com)
For day to day non confidential purposes such as getting basic information or setting up appointments, traditional email can serve just fine. If you need to send us more sensitive information, and you want to do that electronically, then traditional email may not be adequate for the security you require.
In such cases, there are two options. One is to avoid electronic communication. The other is to use a highly secure email service such as that provided by ProtonMail at www.protonmail.com. ProtonMail is free to set up and use and has been developed to provide extreme levels of privacy and security using sophisticated encryption technology. The encryption is done behind the scenes so that use of the ProtonMail service is nearly identical to using any other traditional, less secure unencrypted email service.
Our email address at ProtonMail is above. If you want extreme levels of encryption to protect your communications with us, then this is one option for you.
Still have a fax machine? No worries. Fax away. Through the magic of modern technology, what you fax to us will magically transform into a web friendly PDF and be emailed directly to a partner in the firm. There is no machine in our office where incoming faxes linger and get lost.
Video Conference (FaceTime, Skype, Google+ Hangout)
Sometimes, you want to have a live consultation but the logistics of getting together at a time convenient to everyone just make it unpleasant for everyone. Getting from one place to another, finding parking, and such are no longer a problem if you would like to schedule a video conference consultation. Almost every computer these days has a camera and there are numerous popular (and free) means to have video conference consultations. Video consultations offer the benefits of "face to face" discussions without the hassle and expense of getting to the office. Also, video conferences can be set up for times and days well beyond what would be considered normal office hours. (Think evenings and weekends). This means you don't have to take off from work or school just to consult with a lawyer.
All you need is a computer device equipped with a camera (most computers, especially mobile computers, tablet devices, and smart phones will have a camera) and a reliable web connection. We use Apple devices at Shalley and Murray. Therefore, we can use FaceTime. But anyone with a web connection can use Skype or Google + hangouts to have a video conference as well, all for free. If you would like to set up a video consultation using FaceTime, Skype, or Google+ Hangouts, just let us know and we will pick a date and time convenient for you, nights and weekends included.
